Lona Armstrong
Lona Armstrong, 39, was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque. Bernalillo County officials said a medical emergency on the afternoon of September 8, 2023 led to Armstrong being rushed to UNM Hospital, where Armstrong was pronounced dead around 1 a.m. the next day. The New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator will determine the cause of death.
