Lisa McCray
Lisa McCray, 43, was a kind nurse who volunteered her time, and her father said everybody loved her and she made friends easily. She was held at the Lucas County Jail in Ohio, where jail officials say she strangled herself with a phone cord on November 24, 2017, and that she was found by officers 29 minutes after a check before 3:30 a.m. Jail officials describe the death as a suicide and say she was not flagged for suicide watch. Her family is shocked and says she was not the kind of person who would take her own life. Her mother does not believe she took her own life, and the investigation and review of jail video were said to be ongoing.
