Linda Stevenson, 52, was a pharmacist, a licensed pilot and a professional ballroom dancer, and the mother of two; her son said she always had something to say. She was held at the Hillsborough County jail in Florida, where, according to a family lawsuit against Armor Correctional Health Services, the jail's medical contractor, a doctor's order for an EKG went unfulfilled for nine days after a recent hospital stay for heart problems, and an abnormal result did not lead to specialist care.
