Leticia Willoughby
Leticia Willoughby, 38, was the mother of seven children aged 12 to 22, and had recently moved to Merced from Turlock. She died in July 2012 while held at the John Latorraca Correctional Center in Merced. The Merced County Sheriff's Department said an autopsy was performed, that toxicology results are pending, and that no cause of death has been released. Her family said bail had been posted early that Saturday, that her release was delayed, and that she had not complained of feeling ill, and her daughter had waited outside the facility to take her home.
