Lester Andre Henderson
Lester Andre Henderson, 36, died on August 12, 2020, at the privately operated Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility in Tutwiler, Mississippi, before he could be taken to a hospital. WTOK reported, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections said, that he died after an assault by another person held at the facility. The Mississippi Department of Corrections' Investigation Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are involved, and that investigation was ongoing when the report was published.
