Leslee Laffoon
Leslee Laffoon, 37, died on February 17, 2010, while held in a holding cell at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, where she was waiting to be booked after an arrest a few hours earlier. The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department said she was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. The department said the cause of death has not been determined and that she was not in any altercation with officers. Homicide detectives are investigating, and an autopsy has been completed, with results awaiting toxicology.
