Leland C. Bennett
Leland C. Bennett, 23, of Great Falls, died on March 11, 2018, at Benefis Health System, after being taken there by ambulance from the Cascade County Detention Center, where he was held. Fergus County Coroner Dick Brown's release gave no cause of death, and the investigation was ongoing at the time of reporting. The sheriff's initial report said one of two deaths at the jail was consistent with suicide and the other appeared to be from natural causes, without saying which was which.
