Lee Prowell
Lee Prowell was held at the Dallas County Jail in Selma, Alabama, for several months. He became ill several days before his death, and his condition worsened quickly, according to the Montgomery Advertiser. He died in the jail on December 5, 1908, and the Advertiser reported his death the following day.
