Lawrence Russell Brewer

Lawrence Russell Brewer, 44, was executed by lethal injection by the State of Texas at the Huntsville Unit in Huntsville on September 21, 2011. His parents watched through a nearby window, and one account says he glanced at them and took several deep breaths before he died. He made no final statement, and according to NBC News he was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m., about ten minutes after the drugs began to flow.
