Lawrence Harris
Lawrence Harris, 53, died on July 13, 2016, at Putnamville Correctional Facility in Putnam County, Indiana, a state prison. According to the Indiana State Police, he died after an assault in a general population dorm, and staff called for emergency medical help at 5:49 a.m. The facility was placed on lockdown while police investigated. Two people were isolated from others held there, but their names were withheld pending charges, and the state said an autopsy would determine the official cause of death.
