Lawrence A. Brown, Jr.
Lawrence A. Brown, Jr., 32, was held at the Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas. He was taken to St. John's Hospital in Leavenworth, where staff pronounced him dead on October 22, 2021. The Kansas Department of Corrections said the cause of death is pending an autopsy and is not believed to be related to COVID-19. The department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating the death.
