Died in jail or a lockup
Lavuya Jade Baker
Lavuya Jade Baker, 28, was found unresponsive in her cell at the Otter Tail County jail in Minnesota shortly after midnight on November 3, 2021. Her body was taken to Lake Region Hospital for an autopsy. The cause of death had not been determined when the report was published, and the autopsy was awaiting further lab results. The Fergus Falls Police Department opened an investigation, and the Minnesota Department of Corrections was notified.
