Lavonte Tyreeke Jefferson
Lavonte Tyreeke Jefferson, 23, died on September 8, 2022, while held at Bibb Correctional Facility, a state prison in Alabama. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive and was later pronounced dead. The department has not stated a cause of death, and the Alabama Political Reporter's report of the death, published in December 2022, gives no further account of how it happened.
