Larry Joe Scott
Larry Joe Scott, 68, died on April 15, 2022, at Central Prison in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was held in the custody of the state Department of Public Safety. He had been placed in state custody for safekeeping because of a medical condition, and he was moved to Central Prison on April 3, 2022, after hospital care. The Wake County sheriff and district attorney announced his death in a joint statement that did not describe the circumstances of his death or a possible cause.
