Larry J. Morris
Larry J. Morris, 24, was one of two men killed on May 19, 2008, when a fight broke out in a recreation yard at the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite, Oklahoma. Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie said the fight began when one man spat on another and spread along racial lines. Officials said more than a dozen people were injured, most with cuts and stab wounds, and believed homemade knives were used. The cause of the violence was still under investigation.
