Larry Eugene Mann

Larry Mann asked that a Bible verse he had written out by hand be handed out after his execution. In his final hours he ate a meal, and his only visitors were his two lawyers and a spiritual adviser. His lawyers had pursued appeals for many years, and the U.S. Supreme Court denied his latest appeal shortly before the state carried out a lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Raiford on April 10, 2013. He was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m., and family members who watched said they questioned whether he was truly remorseful.
