Larry Darnell Gordon
Larry Darnell Gordon, 44, was held at the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan, when he was killed on July 11, 2016. His ex-wife said he wanted to get home to their baby girl, and that she had spoken with him the day before and saw no sign he planned an attack. Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey said Gordon grabbed a deputy's gun, briefly took hostages, and then tried to leave through another door, where other officers shot him.
