Larry Bowman
Larry Bowman, 38, died on August 30, 2018, while in the custody of Maury Correctional Institution in North Carolina. The North Carolina Department of Public Safety described his death as an apparent suicide. Staff found him unresponsive in his cell at about 4:48 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at 5:50 a.m. at the facility. The department said the death is under internal investigation.
