Larry A. David Jr. was a people person and a good talker, according to his sister, Crystal David Felton, who said he made others comfortable and knew how to make people laugh. He died on April 19, 2023, at the Centre County Correctional Facility, where he was held. A corrections officer found him unresponsive in his cell during a routine round, and he died before reaching Mount Nittany Medical Center. Police described the death as natural, but the coroner had not assigned a cause as of late April, pending toxicology results. His family says they have unanswered questions about his medical care.
