Larkin Mix
Larkin Mix was held at the jail at Meigs in Mitchell County, Georgia. The Pittsburg Dispatch reported in November 1891 that a mob took Larkin Mix from the jail and hanged them. The paper called it the latest lynching in the South.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. The Pittsburg Dispatch reports that a mob took Larkin Mix from the jail at Meigs and hanged him.
