Lamorris Rivers
Lamorris Rivers, 33, died on June 9, 2021, at Central Prison in Raleigh, North Carolina, less than a week after he was admitted there. The Department of Public Safety said the death appears to be a suicide, and that the department is investigating it along with an outside review. Rivers was found unresponsive in his cell in the afternoon and was pronounced dead shortly after 5 p.m.
