Kriss Lane, 33, was held at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, the main prison complex in St. Francisville in West Feliciana Parish. On Friday, March 1, 2013, shortly before 3 p.m., he was found hanging in his cell, according to Sheriff J. Austin Daniel. The sheriff's office called it an apparent suicide. Autopsy results were still pending when the report was published.
