Klarissa Nye
Klarissa Nye, 33, died at the Penobscot County Jail in Maine on January 20, 2020. The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said her death was suspected to be a suicide. A corrections officer found her unresponsive in a bathroom inside a cell block around 1:45 p.m., and Bangor Fire Department personnel could not save her. Another account gave the discovery as just before 2 a.m. and a different time of day, and the Bangor Police Department and the sheriff's office are still investigating.
