Kiyle Maxwell
Kiyle Maxwell, 25, died in August 2023 at the Baton Rouge Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit office, where he was being held in a holding cell while waiting to be processed for transport to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. The Baton Rouge Police Department said its investigators believe he died by suicide. The Louisiana State Police and the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office are assisting in the investigation, which is ongoing.
