Died in jail or a lockup
Kevin Thomas McWhinnie
Kevin Thomas McWhinnie, 52, died on January 27, 2018, while held at the Harnett County jail in Lillington, North Carolina. The Harnett County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his cell and taken to Central Harnett Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. The State Bureau of Investigation was asked to investigate the death. The sheriff's office has not given a cause or manner of death in the reporting reviewed.
