Kevin Schram
Kevin Schram, 35, from Port Huron, died on May 13, 2021, while held at the Division 1 facility of the Wayne County Jail in Detroit. The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office ruled his death a suicide by hanging, and officials said he hanged himself with bedding provided by the jail. His defense attorney said she was troubled by the sudden turn of events, that he had seemed confident about his case, and that he was in regular contact with his father and had money in his commissary account. The Detroit News had requested the full autopsy but had not received it when it reported the death.
