Kevin McNabb Sr.
Kevin McNabb Sr., 51, was a diabetic who died at the Bannock County jail in Pocatello on October 13, 2006, two days after he was held there. Other people held at the jail said he repeatedly asked for insulin and that it was not provided, and one said staff told him they were waiting on a nurse. Sheriff Lorin Nielsen ordered an independent investigation by neighboring counties, citing high blood sugar levels and the witness statements. The manner and cause of death were still pending in the reporting.
