Kevin A. Barrett, 44, died on October 25, 2013, while held at Piedmont Correctional Institution in Salisbury, North Carolina. FOX8 WGHP reported that authorities said he apparently hanged himself, and that Salisbury police were investigating his death. He had been returned to prison in early October after a violation of his post-release supervision.
