Kevin Atwood
Kevin Atwood, 25, died on September 18, 2016, after being held at Northwest State Correctional Facility in Swanton, Vermont. The Vermont State Police said that on a Thursday afternoon he was found unresponsive in his cell after an apparent suicide attempt. He was taken to hospital, removed from life support, and died there on the Sunday morning. The manner of his death is listed as pending, and the Vermont State Police, an internal unit of the Agency of Human Services, the defender general's office and the Department of Corrections are reviewing the circumstances.
