Kenneth Rhodes
Kenneth Rhodes, 71, died on December 22, 2015, after he was attacked by another person held at the Fourth Avenue Jail in Maricopa County, Arizona. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. The sheriff's office said deputies have a suspect in the attack, whose identity has not been released while the investigation continues.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Brandon Jones says Rhodes was attacked by another inmate in a housing unit and died at a hospital.
