Kenneth LaCoste
Kenneth LaCoste, 42, died on July 18, 2018, at Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, where he was held in the custody of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections. He was found dead in his cell about two hours after another man, John Hatfield, was found dead there. Department of Corrections spokeswoman Natalie Laborde said he appeared to have overdosed, and officials believed the drug was synthetic marijuana known as mojo. The death is under investigation.
