Kenneth Heyward
Kenneth Heyward, 33, died on August 28, 2026, while held at the Collin County jail in McKinney, Texas. According to the Collin County Sheriff's Office, he was found unresponsive in his cell that Friday morning, and jail and medical staff attempted to revive him without success. The sheriff's office has not said what caused his death, and the Texas Rangers will conduct an independent investigation.
