Kemond Fortson
Kemond Fortson, 38, died on July 23, 2023, after being held at the Federal Correctional Institute Talladega in Alabama. The U.S. Department of Justice said he was found unresponsive at the prison on the evening of July 23, and that medical staff at the prison provided care before he was taken to a hospital, where he died. The Department of Justice has not given a cause of death, and the manner of death is listed as unknown.
