Keith John
Keith John, 26, died at the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo, New York, on July 31, 2010. Erie County Undersheriff Mark Wipperman said he was found hanging from the bars of his cell that Saturday afternoon and was taken to Buffalo General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Wipperman described the death as a suicide and the third at the jail that year. A 2017 Buffalo News report said Keith had a history of mental illness, and an autopsy was scheduled for the following Monday.
