Keimar Butler
Keimar Butler, 28, of Fort Wayne, died on August 21, 2024, while held at the Allen County Jail. Jail staff found him hanging from a bed sheet in his solitary confinement cell, and he was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Allen County Coroner ruled the death a suicide, with asphyxia due to hanging as the cause. Indiana State Police said detectives did not suspect anything other than suicide, and the investigation remains open.
