Keandra Clasha Forbes, a 35-year-old woman from Bessemer, was held at the Trussville City Jail in a private cell. On March 2, 2026, she was taken to UAB-St. Vincent's East Hospital in Birmingham, where she died on March 6. Authorities said an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of her death.
