Kamari Belmont
Kamari Belmont, 23, was released on bond from the Cook County Jail in Chicago late on Monday night, March 6, 2017. About half an hour later, while riding in a vehicle less than a mile from the jail, he was shot from an SUV and collapsed in the street. He was pronounced dead minutes later, and Chicago Police listed gunshot wounds as the cause of death.
Cause of death, as reported: Cause not yet determined. Chicago Police said Belmont died of gunshot wounds after he was shot from a white SUV in the street less than a mile from the jail.
