Justin Welch
Justin Welch, 25, of Marysville, worked as a certified nurse's aide at Cambridge Place, and his family asked the public to respect their right to grieve in private. He was found unresponsive in his cell at the Marshall County Jail on a Saturday afternoon in January 2014 and was pronounced dead at Community Memorial Healthcare. The Marshall County Sheriff's Department said he was alone in the cell with no cellmate, and the county attorney said no foul play was suspected. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was asked to review the case while an autopsy was to determine the cause of death.
