Justin Taylor
Justin Taylor, 36, of Aiken, South Carolina, died on the night of April 15, 2026. Sources say he became unresponsive in the back of an Aiken Department of Public Safety patrol vehicle while being taken to the Aiken County Detention Center, and he was pronounced dead at Aiken Regional Medical Center. The Aiken Department of Public Safety said no weapon or force was used and there was no altercation with officers. The Aiken County coroner's office and SLED are investigating, and the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
