Justin R. Ross, 21, died on December 14, 2017, while in custody at the Idaho County Jail in Idaho County, Idaho. The sheriff's office said he suffered medical issues while held there and was pronounced dead at Syringa Hospital. The cause of death is pending autopsy, and the sheriff's office requested an incident investigation by the Kamiah Marshal's Office. A earlier record gave illness as the cause, but the later report lists the cause as pending.
