Justin Hardaway
Justin Hardaway, 29, was being held at the Shelby County Division of Corrections penal farm in Tennessee while awaiting trial. Staff found him in what appeared to be medical distress, and the Shelby County Mayor's Office said he was taken to medical for evaluation before being transferred to Baptist Memorial Hospital-East, where he was pronounced dead on July 22, 2026. The Mayor's Office has not stated a cause or manner of death.
