Julio Gonzalez
Julio Gonzalez, 61, died in September 2016 while held at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York. He was taken to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, where he was pronounced dead, and the state corrections agency said he appeared to have suffered a heart attack. A state medical review board later found that his chronic hypertension care was systemically deficient, noting that his last documented physical was in 2010 and that medical staff did not make sure he took his medication. The Clinton County Medical Examiner's office was to determine the official cause of death.
