Julianne Riebeling, 52, of Corte Madera, died at the Marin County Jail in San Rafael on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The Marin County Sheriff's Office said a deputy found her hanging in her single-occupancy cell during a routine check early that morning, and she was pronounced dead at 5:45 a.m. The Central Marin Police Authority is investigating the circumstances of her death, and the Sonoma County coroner's office is conducting a separate death investigation.
