Juan Puente
Juan Puente, 37, was the older son of Ana Maria Cardona. He died in February 2018 while held at Gulf Correctional Institution's Annex in Florida. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which investigates in-custody deaths at state prisons, said it has an active investigation and would not say whether the death is being treated as suspicious. The Gulf County Medical Examiner's Office had not disclosed a cause or manner of death.
