Juan Manuel Salazar-Lopez
Juan Salazar-Lopez, 48, was a resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He died on June 19, 2025, while held at the Sebastian County jail, where he was in immigration custody. The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office said it found him unresponsive in his cell and that he was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital. The sheriff's office said no foul play was suspected, and Arkansas State Police and an internal jail review are looking into the death.
