Juan Jimenez, 25, died on April 19, 2010, in his cell at the Sumter County Jail in Americus, Georgia, where he was being held. Authorities said he was found dead around 2:45 a.m. and that preliminary autopsy results indicated he died from self-inflicted strangulation. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Region 3 office in Americus took over the case for further investigation.
