Josso Woodson
Josso Woodson was held in the jail at Murfreesboro, Tennessee. According to a short wire report in the Wilmington Daily Commercial of August 14, 1875, a mob took him from the jail and hanged him on the night of Thursday, August 12, 1875.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A Wilmington Daily Commercial news report says a mob took Josso Woodson from the Murfreesboro jail and hanged him.
