Joshua Pierce
Joshua Pierce, 32, was held at the Clarinda Correctional Facility in Clarinda, Iowa. The Iowa Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell, and he died on August 16, 2021 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The department announced the death. The Iowa Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause, which has not yet been determined.
