Joshua Michael Pierce
Joshua Pierce, 32, was held at the Clarinda Correctional Facility in Iowa, where he was found unresponsive in his cell in the early hours of August 16, 2021. He was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and pronounced dead there at 3:25 a.m. The Iowa Department of Corrections reported the death, and the Iowa Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause, which has not yet been determined.
