Joshua McCormick, 36, of Anderson, died on the morning of Tuesday, October 11, 2016, in his cell at Mule Creek State Prison in Amador County, California. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials said he was pronounced dead at 7:33 a.m. The officials said they are investigating his death as a possible homicide. They have also placed another man in administrative segregation while the investigation continues.
